Purpose
The third phase of national space program in Taiwan starts from year 2019. It includes science innovation and outer space exploration project. The International Space Station (ISS) Experiment Design Contest encourages basic and applied research related to the space science, space biomedicine, and technology to inspire more innovations and more persons participating in space programs.
Participants
1. Students from high schools and universities throughout the world.
2. Researchers from research institutes or enterprises in Taiwan.
3. Individuals or groups interested in astronautics and space biomedicine in Taiwan.
4. Groups should have 2 to 5 participants and they could be from different organizations. Each group is allowed to have 1 or 2 instructors for guiding their work.
* Note: The team currently supported by NSPO budget is not eligible to participate the contest using the same topic.
Content of the Contest
Propose an experiment to perform in the ESA ICE Cubes*1 or the Nanoracks NanoLab*2 on International Space Station. Examples of potential fields of experiment include microgravity physics, space radiation, materials science, 3D printing, microgravity agriculture, microbiology, pharmaceutical development, etc. For abstract and Long Abstract templates, please click here to download.
